I am a private tutor for students preparing to take their SAT subject tests. I have been working with local students to review the material and teach them skills that will improve their performance on the exams. I enjoy tutoring students in many subject areas, including chemistry, Italian, French, writing, and the ACT. I believe that test prep is invaluable to improving a student's scores on their SAT, ACT, PSAT, and other standardized exams. I can help a student increase their pacing to meet the time requirements of the exam or go over strategies to ease the anxiety that can come with testing. If a student is taking a language course or simply preparing to take a vacation, I can work with them to increase their grasp of Italian, French, or English. I enjoy helping others achieve fluency in a second or third language. I know many valuable teaching strategies that can enhance a student's grasp of a language. I work with each student collaboratively to develop a creative and unique environment that is well suited to their individual learning style. In my free time, I love to travel. I am planning to visit New Zealand and Patagonia as soon as possible. I pay basketball frequently.
