I hold an MFA in English/Poetry from New Mexico State University and a Bachelor's in English Literature from Louisiana State University.

Experience

I have taught high school and college level writing and composition classes for the past ten years, most recently at Santa Fe University of Art and Design. In addition, I spent several years tutoring at NMSU Writing Center, where I handled an array of writing projects: college essays, academic research papers, and doctoral dissertations. My specialty is assisting students write application essays for college and graduate school admissions, but I enjoy all writing tasks that allow me to use my creativity and ability to encourage students to produce their best possible work. I have been working exclusively with students as a private tutor for the past three years.
